Extended Christmas Returns

If ordered before the 23rd of December you can return orders until the 31st January 2025

  • If you have ordered with SWAP protect and wish to make a claim, this can be done via the claims portal here.

UK ORDERS

 

*All orders are shipped from our UK warehouse. 

 

We ship with DPD Next Day Delivery and Royal Mail  

+ DPD Next day delivery (When ordered before 1pm): Delivered the next working day. (Excludes weekends)

+ Royal Mail 1st Class Post: Delivered within 1 - 2 working days 
+ Royal Mail 2nd Class Post: Delivered within 2 - 4 working days 

 

USA ORDERS

 

*All orders are shipped from our UK warehouse. 

We ship with DHL EXPRESS International. This usually takes 2-4 working days depending on your shipping address.

Please note that Taxes and Duties are NOT included.
*Taxes and duties do not apply for any USA orders under 800 USD.

EU ORDERS

 

*All orders are shipped from our UK warehouse. 

We ship with DHL EXPRESS International. This usually takes 2-4 working days depending on your shipping address.

 

*Customs and Import Duties are NOT included. You will receive an invoice for any taxes and duties after you have received your delivery.

 

 

REST OF WORLD ORDERS

 

*All orders are shipped from our UK warehouse. 

We ship with DHL EXPRESS International. This usually takes 2-4 working days depending on your shipping address.

*Customs and Import Duties are NOT included. Any customs and duties that are required to be paid will be invoiced after you have received your parcel.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

You have 30 days to return or exchange any unworn item/items from the date you received your order. 

Return labels can be purchased via our online returns portal for domestic (United Kingdom) customers only, or you can submit your return via the portal and opt to self-ship. Please note international / Rest of world customers will be required to use their own carriers once their return has been submitted through the returns portal.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Important: Please read these instructions carefully before you return your parcel to us:
  • Invoice: Clearly write "BRITISH RETURN GOODS" on the back of your parcel and shipping invoice alongside each item in the parcel and state zero value. If this information is not included, customs and duty charges may be applied and deducted from your refund.
  • Return shipping label: Use your order number as a reference on the return shipping label.
  • Packaging: Package the order securely. You can use the original packaging or your own light mailer.
  • Tracking: Use a tracked service with your local post office so you can see when your parcel has been delivered to us. Include your contact information in the parcel incase we need to contact you regarding your return.

FAQ's

Will my postage be refunded if I want to return an item?

We currently do not cover returns postage. Postage for all returns (domestic and international) is covered by the customer. Away That Day sends out the exchanged item/s free of charge, however postage to return the original item/s is the responsibility of the customer. 

How long will it take for my funds to appear back in my account?

After we receive your returned parcel, please allow up to 14 working days for your refund to be processed, or 5 working days for your exchange to be sent. If you need an exchange urgently, please email info@awaythatday.com with your order number. 

Can I exchange my item/s for a different style?

We happily accept exchanges. All exchanges are based on stock availability and can only be exchanged for the same item in a different colour / size as long as they are the same cost value. If the exchanged style is more in value than your original item, we will need to process a refund and the item you want will need to be ordered through the website.  

Can I return sale items?

We have final sale items and also normal sale items:

Final sale: All final sale items will be clearly marked final sale in the product title and can only be returned for store credit. 

Sale: Any items on sale that are not marked 'final sale' in the product title can be exchanged or returned for a full refund. 

 

Can I return Gift Cards?

Once a gift card is purchased, it cannot be refunded nor exchanged for monetary value. All Gift Card codes have no expiry date, so your code will not expire and you can use it whenever you wish. 

Do I have to pay for my return label?

Yes. You may purchase a return label via our online returns portal, or alternatively email returns@awaythatday.com for our returns address if you would prefer to post your return using a postal service of your choice.
